The details of campus recruitment and eligibility criteria are mentioned below for your reference
Program details: Student Trainee (ST):- Objective
The ST program at SMG is focused on providing on job training to students who willing to work along with their study of ITI. The program is approved and monitored as per NCVT and DGT guidelines. The ST program provide classroom training to students along with On job training of 22 months during their training period with benefit of stipend and other facilities as well.
Program outline
It
is a 2 years ITI programme (under
Flexi MoU with DGT). Trade is Vehicle Technician from NCVT.
During 2
years’ program, initial 2 months, the students will have full-fledged classroom
training for 8 hours each day. Once the students are ready with basics in
classroom training, they will start their 22
months OJT. 22 months OJT training will be at SMG – Hansalpur plant.
During OJT of 22 months, STs will
attend theory class for 2 days in a week. Duration of theory during OJT is 5hrs
per week (Each theory class
is of 2.5hrs duration). Batch wise OJT theory schedule
will be shared
by training partner
to the Student
Trainees after their successful onboarding.
Student Trainees
will have internal
assessments on weekly,
monthly and quarterly
basis for continuous monitoring. Students need to
attend the yearly examination scheduled by NCVT.
Student
Trainees will be following SMG calendar for holidays and working days to ensure
better synchronization.
Eligibility
1.
Education Qualification:
The candidate should have Class 10th Pass with a minimum of
50% marks (students from open school are
not allowed). Students should necessarily should not have any Technical
training (Diploma, ITI, B. Tech. etc.) after Class 10th.
2.
Age limit:
Between 18-21 years as on
date of Joining for the course.
Stipend
Student Trainee will get a stipend
of Rs. 11,000/- per month for 26 days working.
Any unapproved leaves
will get deducted from the final net pay accordingly.
Other than the monthly
salary, following are the additional
attendance incentive applicable to them as per
eligibility criteria.

Hostel (Dormitory) Facility
Hostel (dormitory) facility is provided to all the students within the proximity of the factory, if they would like to avail. The dormitory charges are Rs. 1000/- per month.
Canteen
The students will be provided with Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner and two cups of tea during their OJT shift. Food during the shift is provided at a subsidized cost as mentioned below.
Breakfast Cost per day : Rs. 8.50/- Lunch/Dinner Cost per day : Rs. 17.65/- Tea and Snacks Cost day : Rs. 7.50/-
The cost to the student is approximately Rs. 875/- per month, depending on the shift of the student and facility utilized. In case of any changes in SMG canteen rates, it is applicable to Student Trainees as well.
Leave
1 leave per month. The leave cannot be carry forwarded or encashed.
Transportation
The Hostels/dormitories are located nearby factory location. Although a walkable distance but public conveyance is also available in the area.
Alternatively, SMG has identified vendor for providing bicycles on rent. The monthly rental of the bicycle is Rs. 250 per month. Security deposit of Rs.1000 is charged in two monthly instalments of Rs.500 each. On returning the bicycle to the vendor, security deposit of Rs.1000 will be returned to the trainee.
Uniform
Students need to be necessarily in uniform during their course hours. SMG provides PPEs as per the department requirement.
Insurance
Students will be covered under medical insurance of Rs. 50,000/-. Apart from this the students will also have a Personal Accident cover of Rs. 12,00,000/-.
Certificate
On successful completion of training and NCVT examination Student Trainee will get National Trade Certificate (NTC) from NCVT.
Progression
After completion of 2-year training, depending on the performance, maintaining minimum 95% attendance during the period, recommendation of department and based on business requirement these trainees are eligible for Fixed Term Contractual (FTC) employment for 7-month duration.
Successful completion of NCVT examination is also required for joining as FTC.
Recruitment Process:
“THE PLACER” Team will do initial screening of all the eligible applicants as per eligible criteria mentioned above, Initial screening will includes verifying original documents of applicant as mentioned below and conduct written test paper. Final screening includes face to face interview. Thesaid activities will be done on the same day of recruitment process

· 10th Passing certificate / Mark sheet (original and sets of 2 photocopies)
· Government ID Proofs - Aadhar Card / PAN Card (original and sets of 2 photocopies)
· 3 Recent passport size photographs
